 Many of the college students we have worked with have needed help with a math class (Algebra 2, Trig, Calculus), science (Earth Science, Chemistry), a literature essay (Shakespeare, Classics, or a modern essay), applications to medical, Praxis Exam prep (for teaching certificates), or help with the GRE (test to apply for graduate school). Some have come as traditional or international students, some as non traditional students coming back to college for a career change or because they wanted to become stronger readers or needed help with spelling and writing emails for their businesses.

What we offer:

- Many of the clients at this level have a specific goal in mind (pass a class or final, finish a 10-page research paper), so our sessions together are often short-term (a few months vs. multi-year relationships with middle school and high school students). The consultation is often where we set specific goals and map out a meeting schedule (number of sessions, weekly meeting times). Students consistently express appreciation over the clear communication of concepts, and the mentoring to meet their goals.

Some examples:

One student was a political science major and helped with some high level campaigns in the Idaho election. We met for GRE math and he was able to go on to a graduate school to continue his study of political science. Another studied AI in the Netherlands and his mom reached out from New York for life coaching, content, and to set up a management system for some of his health challenges. A number were police officers working on their Management in Organizational Development, or stay at home moms who were returning to school to work on counseling degrees. One student needed an editor for her thesis on the Saudi Arabian education system and education for women. At this level, students come from a variety of countries and backgrounds; each client relationship is focused on very specific goals and checkpoints, and it has been a pleasure to come alongside so many adults who are lifelong learners.
